Hold our ropes

“I will venture to go down, but remember you must hold the ropes.” –  William Carey, missionary to India for over 40 years

This is the day that we will board an airplane to move to other side of the world and we go with joy as we knowing that the body of Christ is holding our ropes!  On our final Sunday in the U.S., the Mission Team of Grace Church of Orange commissioned us, sending us out with prayer.  Many of the congregation stood as a commitment to pray for us and the ministry of 1Hope while we are in South Africa.  It was a beautiful picture of the the Body of Christ standing together to accomplish His purposes. We are filled with joy and thanksgiving!!

Grace Church of Orange created this board to have the congregation lifting us up in prayer every week of the year!!

We have spent our last weeks here visiting with friends and family, soaking in precious moments with those we love so dearly that we will not be able to hug in the next year.  Saying goodbye is so difficult and we are so thankful that one day, there will be no good byes.

“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Rev. 4:21

It is now time for us to pack it all up and make our way to LAX!  Thank you so much, dear friends and family, for standing with us, supporting us, encouraging us, praying for us!!  This journey is not the Clarks on some crazy adventure, but all of us together.  We will venture to go down, but remember you must hold the ropes!  We love you!!  By His Grace and For His Glory!!

Ready to load it up! Randy with our 17 boxes!
